3way Administrative stuff: message formats

Thankyou all for your postings to the list - however I'm
having problems with some of the messages which are coming
through either as HTML or (in one case) as a binary
file. The problem is cause by the wide variety of email
programs currently in use, some of which have been set
up to send what is euphemistically called "rich" email. This
can cause problems for those (I include myself) with "dumb"
mail readers [technically minded people might like to
know I use elm on a Unix system Nexus].
Could I ask everyone to try to post plain text only
to the list - it makes it easier for everyone.
