There is a growing feeling that the 'Third Way' needs a distinct approach to
economics. I have written a paper which attempts to analyse the relationship
between money and 'real' wealth, and its consequences. I am particularly
keen to get comments from economists and those with knowledge of banking and
finance.

The paper is titled 'Money and Inequality - How inequality and inefficiency
are built into our financial system' and can be found at
http://www.abel.co.uk/~febl/monin/monineq1.htm

I intend to follow up this analytical paper with papers considering likely
future trends and policy considerations based on the analysis.
